I started Mystic Wyrd because I believe magic is real — not the wand-waving kind, but the kind that lives in a quiet moment of clarity, the courage to start over, the feeling of finally exhaling after a long time holding your breath.
If you’ve landed here, there’s probably something in you searching for that. A reset. A reconnection. A sense of wonder you’ve misplaced somewhere between responsibilities and the relentless pace of everything.
I know that feeling. I’ve lived it. And Reiki helped me find my way back.
My Story
I grew up the kind of kid who believed in magic longer than anyone thought was reasonable. Fantasy novels, daydreams, the quiet sense that there was something luminous just beneath the surface of ordinary life — I was enchanted by all of it.
Then life got complicated, the way it tends to. I moved often, navigated some genuinely hard seasons, and slowly lost touch with that part of myself. I became very good at managing and coping — but something was missing.
In my thirties, on the other side of one of those hard seasons, I walked into a psychic development class looking to develop my gifts, find connection, and maybe even friendship with like-minded people. What I found there changed everything. My teacher looked at me one afternoon and said, “I think you should get Reiki certified — and I’m teaching a class this weekend.”
Something in me said yes before my brain could argue.
That weekend, I felt things shift. Not dramatically — not an overnight miracle. But something quieter and more real: a remembering. The magic I’d believed in as a child hadn’t left. I’d just stopped looking for it.
Reiki became a cornerstone of my own healing practice. Eventually, it became something more: a calling. I founded Mystic Wyrd in 2026 to be the kind of space I wish I’d found sooner — somewhere safe to lay down what you’re carrying and reconnect with your inner magic.
Training & Qualifications
In October 2023, I received my First and Second Degree Reiki initiations in the Usui/Holy Fire® III method. This lineage traces back to Mikao Usui, who developed Reiki in early 20th century Japan, through masters Chujiro Hayashi and Hawayo Takata, who brought the practice to the West.
My training covered Reiki’s history and philosophy, distance healing, the sacred Reiki II symbols, and how to create a heart-centered, welcoming practice. I continue to deepen my practice through regular self-treatment, meditation, and ongoing study.
In March 2026, I received my Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Master certification — a milestone that now allows me to teach and initiate others who feel called to this path.
My Approach
Mystic Wyrd is not a medical practice. I can’t diagnose, treat, or prescribe — and I wouldn’t want to. What I offer is complementary to the team of doctors, therapists, coaches, and supporters already in your corner.
What I can offer is this: a genuinely cozy, unhurried space where you can exhale. Candlelight. Soft, relaxing music. A recliner instead of a clinical table. Hands-off energy healing that respects your personal space completely. And a practitioner who takes your healing — and your sense of wonder — seriously.
I also weave in elements of mystery: divination tools, candle ritual, and a light touch of the mystical. These aren’t magic in themselves — the magic is you. They’re simply the invitation to remember that.

Outside the healing room, I’m a reader, a painter, and a lover of good fantasy novels (some things don’t change). I’m a student of psychic mediumship and a firm believer that every life is layered with more meaning, beauty, and possibility than we usually let ourselves see.
I’m based in Northeast Colorado Springs, Colorado, and I offer both in-person and virtual Reiki sessions so that wherever you are, this space is accessible to you.
